Consultancy

Our professional support team offer a range of consultancy services aimed at easing the implementation process and reducing your workload. These include:

  • Preparation of the User Requirements Specification.
  • Performing a review of your Business Processes and providing recommendations for change.
  • Performing a Site System Survey covering both software/hardware requirements and booth modifications.
  • Site Acceptance Testing (for the initial installation and upgrades).
  • On-site Support during the first week of live use to ensure a smooth cut-over.
  • Remote Support.

Project Management

We have adopted a proven implementation plan which ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the desired quality. Our approach is documented within the QAP.  For further details please contact CI.

Validation

In-House

All software development is produced according to the software development lifecycle defined within our quality manual. The final stage of development is the FAT which for some projects simply consists of scenario tests to prove that the configured system meets your user requirements. We welcome witnessing of these tests.

In Project

We produce project specific configuration and installation documents from in-house templates. These are populated during the course of the project as the information becomes available.

The Configuration Document contains all the rules and settings applicable to the particular installation and against which the system is validated. The Installation Manual contains instructions for the installation and upgrade of the system together with the set-up of the Disaster Recovery (DR) server. It also contains installation instructions for all peripheral software and hardware.

Site Acceptance

We have also produced Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ) and Performance Qualification (PQ) template documents. Tests from these documents are adapted according to the functionality implemented.

The IQ contains tests to prove: the installation of the software and interfaces with peripheral software/hardware devices. It also proves the correct set-up of all configuration information.
The OQ contains tests to prove the particular configuration that has been applied.
The PQ contains end-to-end scenario tests using orders created from your recipes.
You can either produce/perform the site acceptance tests yourselves or we can manage this activity and you can act as the witness.

Our philosophy is for you to understand the full capability of the system as early on in the project lifecycle as possible. We offer various training/mentoring activities to achieve this goal.
