SUCCESS IN EUROPE AND ASIA FOR CI SYSTEMS
In a double export coup, CI Systems has won two major contracts to install its Ci-DMS (Dispensary Management System) for multinational pharmaceutical companies. CI Systems will be installing Ci-DMS in plants in Scandinavia and South East Asia.
Ci-DMS is a fully validated computerised weighing system that ensures secure consistent control of all raw material weighing and has been designed specifically to comply with the regulatory requirements of the pharmaceutical industry.
In Scandinavia Ci-DMS is to provide a single system to both control and monitor dispensing throughout the plant. Ci-DMS will be used to dispense solid and liquid raw materials at five manual dispensing booths and directly into IBCs at two bulk manual dosing stations; it will also control the dispensing of packaging materials for the packing lines.
In addition, Ci-DMS is to interface, not only with the customer's stock control and financial systems, but also with an automated warehouse system, providing full lot traceability.
In South East Asia Ci-DMS will be used for manual dispensing and in addition the new Ci-DMS Silo Dosing Module will be used for dispensing directly into IBCs from automated bulk silos.
