with the Cisorp Water Sorption Analyser

Water sorption isotherms study the equilibrium water uptake as a function of water vapour pressure or relative humidity.

Results can be viewed as isotherms together with the corresponding kinetic profile.

Water sorption kinetic tests record changes in the sample weights and water vapour pressure with time.

The frequency of data storage can be set by the user, allowing detailed kinetic data as well as extended experiments to be recorded.

In temperature tests, the temperature is changed during an experiment, with or without simultaneous changes in the relative humidity.

Results can be used to distinguish physical and chemical adsorption, identify irreversible changes, and calculate thermodynamic parameters.
