CI Microbalances

The Universal Attachment enables a controlled environment to be maintained around the sample, while weighing at elevated or reduced temperatures, in vacuum, air or other gases.

The balance head and upper part of the apparatus are protected from any extremes of temperature by the water jacket around the centre tube. The Universal Attachment provides a means of passing a gas over a sample or exhausting the products of combustion.

Standard

The Standard Universal Attachment is suitable for temperatures up to 1200°C and includes: Pyrex main body, Silica centre tube, Silica sample flask, coupling springs, joint clips and high temperature rods.

High Temperature

The High Temperature Universal Attachment is suitable for temperatures up to 1600°C and includes: Pyrex main body, Mullite centre tube, Mullite sample flask, coupling springs, joint clips and high temperature rods.
