NEW STANDARD MODULE
FOR SILO DOSING WITH Ci-DMS DISPENSARY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
CI Systems, the leading specialist developer of Dispensary Management Systems for the pharmaceutical industry, has added a Silo Dosing standard module to its renowned Ci-DMS Dispensary Management System. It gives extra versatility to the system and is the latest addition to a range of standard modules which are designed to provide quicker and easier system implementation. Ci-DMS can be configured to meet specific customer needs and can also be upgraded or expanded easily thanks to its three tier system architecture and modular construction.
The Silo Dosing module forms part of a range of bulk dispensing modules. It allows dispensing from up to eight bulk silos into an IBC or tote. It can interface with the silo's PLC control system at any required level of sophistication, can control silo filling, monitor silo cleaning, print dispensed labels and monitor load cell calibration.
Ci-DMS provides compliance to FDA 21 CFR Part 11 guidelines covering the use of electronic records and electronic signatures. It provides full lot traceability to GMP standards. It leads the operator through pre-set sequences to ensure consistent dispensing. It also checks scale calibration, operator ID, QC status and enforces cleaning routines as well as health & safety warnings. The interface module allows data transfer between Ci-DMS and most MES/MRP/ERP systems.
Ci-DMS uses Windows security to control access and enforces the customer's own user and password policy. It also allows customer configuration of access rights for different roles as well as electronic signatures and second user approvals. It maintains audit trails that log before and after values for all changed data, whilst archiving and back up functions are also provided.
